The 11MWZ, in the transition to the 13MWZ, featured open-seam construction with selvedge denim in 1964. The manufacturing period was only one year, and the 1964 model of the 11MWZ is known among enthusiasts as a valuable vintage item due to the rare open-seam construction with visible selvedge, unusual for Wrangler.
